We left South Beach Campground today and traveled south to the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino. The Quinault Indian Nation consists of Quinault, Queets, Quileute, Hoh, Chehalis, Chinook, and Cowlitz people. Some of these tribes also have their own Reservation…for instance the Quileute are up in La Push.
This casino has a large area for RVs to park in, and there is no cost Monay through Thursday, and it is $10 per night on the weekend. When we arrived shortly after noon, there were at the most a dozen RVs in the 80+ RV slots. Tonight there are probably 50 RVs here…they just kept rolling in all day after us.
On Fridays they have a Land & Sea Buffet….Prime Rib and all sorts of Seafood Dishes. The Buffet starts at 5, and we were there promptly at 5…and did not get seated until after 6! Yes, it is that popular. No, it is not the best we have ever had…until the end when Marcia tried their Lemon Bars, with a Graham Cracker crust on the bottom, lushes lemon filling, with a few blueberries sprinkled inside the filling. All in all, we are STUFFED! Hence, no real pictures today…all these pictures were taken off the Internet, mostly from the Casino’s website.
Tomorrow is laundry day, I already did the grocery shopping, and by Sunday we will be ready to head on south and get some electricity again! Hey, anyone out there have any….
